When someone with a global name customizes their car, it’s never about random choices. It’s about taste, consistency and trust in a brand.
One of those stories is our project with Chief Keef in Los Angeles.
The globally known rapper once again chose Renegade Design — this time for his own dark green car, equipped with a forged carbon body kit and installed in LA by the well-known team at West Coast Customs.
For us, this project is not just a collaboration, but a clear example of how a modern premium build should look when the goal is individuality, not hype.
A client who comes back
The most valuable compliment for any brand in the premium segment is a returning client.
Chief Keef is exactly that case.
Around two years ago, he chose a Renegade Design body kit for his Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. That project delivered the right result — and the next step was only a matter of time and a new car in the garage.
Now we have:
-
a new platform,
-
a deeper, more refined spec,
-
and a forged carbon configuration that takes the design to the next level.
Dark green paint and forged carbon: understated, but impossible to ignore
Dark green is not a color you choose by accident.
In a city like Los Angeles, full of bright supercars and bold liveries, a deep green shade immediately reads as a conscious, refined decision.
Paired with a forged carbon body kit, the car gains exactly the character you expect from a serious custom:
-
it doesn’t scream,
-
but it clearly stands out,
-
and it looks like it was built around the owner, not pulled from a standard configurator.
Forged carbon plays a central role here. The complex texture, depth and gloss of the material create the feeling of a high-end, carefully planned upgrade rather than a simple styling add-on.
The Renegade Design forged carbon kit: what was installed
The vehicle received a full forged carbon body kit from Renegade Design. The package includes:
-
Front bumper lip – visually lowers the front end and gives the car a more focused and confident stance.
-
Side skirts – clean up the side profile and visually connect front and rear.
-
Rear diffuser – emphasizes width and presence, adding a stronger performance look from the back.
-
Rear spoiler – completes the silhouette and adds a subtle but clear dynamic touch.
-
Full forged carbon hood – one of the key visual elements, making the car instantly recognizable even in a line of high-end vehicles.
-
Radiator grille surround – a precise detail that ties the front together in a single, premium composition.
-
Lower grille – supports the aggressive character of the front bumper and matches the forged carbon accents.
-
Front bumper side inserts – add depth to the front view and visually widen the stance.
-
Rear bumper inserts – complement the diffuser and create a finished, cohesive rear angle.
All these parts are made from high-grade forged carbon, with clean geometry, deep gloss and a distinctive, high-end pattern that looks especially strong against the dark green paint.
Why forged carbon was the right choice
For this level of client and this type of build, “standard” carbon fiber is no longer the obvious answer.
Forged carbon offers several advantages:
-
Visual uniqueness – the marbled pattern is different on every part, which makes each element visually individual.
-
Perceived value – even without technical explanations, forged carbon is immediately read as something rare and expensive.
-
Perfect match with dark colors – on a dark green car, forged carbon creates a rich contrast and the effect of a deliberate, tailored design.
As a result, Chief Keef’s car looks not loud, but confident and expensive — exactly the kind of statement that works in the premium segment today.
Next in line: Ferrari Purosangue
The story doesn’t end with this project.
Chief Keef already has a Ferrari Purosangue in his garage, and we are looking at possible directions for a future build.
For us, this is more than just another order. It’s the continuation of a long-term relationship with a client who values individuality, rare materials and a consistent design language across his cars.
Custom as a tool of status
This Los Angeles project shows one clear trend:
today, a body kit is not only about aggression or a “sporty look”. It’s about attitude, detail and a personal design code.
Chief Keef could have left the car stock.
He could have gone for basic options.
Instead, he chose:
-
a limited forged carbon body kit,
-
a team he already trusts,
-
and a configuration that reflects his own style.
