Zeekr 8X Wide Body Extensions in Carbon Fibre, +20 mm per Side
The Zeekr 8X wide body extensions by RNG Design are a set of four carbon fibre wheel arch extensions that replace the factory arch mouldings and add 20 mm of width on each side. Developed on the body of the standard Zeekr 8X, they give the car the stance its proportions were asking for, without touching a single painted panel. Hand-laid pre-preg carbon in classic twill or forged carbon, visible under clear lacquer or painted to body colour.
The Zeekr 8X wide body extensions fit the Max, Ultra and Ultra+
The set is developed for the standard Zeekr 8X and fits the Max, Ultra and Ultra+ versions. The Shadow Edition has its own set: see our separate Zeekr 8X Shadow Edition programme. The extensions are installed in place of the factory arch mouldings on their original mounting points, so nothing is drilled or cut, and the car can be returned to stock at any time.
Wheels and stance with the Zeekr 8X wide body extensions
The extensions work with the factory wheels and offset. For the flush look, with the tyre sitting level with the new arch line, our forged wheels for the Zeekr 8X are made with the matching offset. Together with the carbon front lip with DRL and the carbon diffuser with stop light, the Zeekr 8X wide body extensions complete the full RNG Design programme for the car.
How the Zeekr 8X wide body extensions are made
RNG Design is a full-cycle manufacturer, not a reseller. The moulds are cut on our own CNC machines from the geometry of the 8X arches, and every set of Zeekr 8X wide body extensions is laid by hand from pre-preg carbon fibre, cured, lacquered and polished under one roof. That is why the panel gaps hold, and why we can film your own parts at any stage of production before they ship.
Finishes: twill carbon fibre or forged carbon
Classic 2×2 twill gives the traditional carbon look with a deep, even weave. Forged carbon gives the fragmented marble-like pattern that has become the signature of modern performance cars. Both are UV stable under a clear lacquer, or the extensions can be painted to body colour with the weave hidden. Gloss black basalt fibre is available on request.
