Zeekr 8X Carbon Tailgate Spoiler: the Mid Spoiler in Classic or Forged Carbon
The Zeekr 8X carbon tailgate spoiler by RNG Design, the mid spoiler in our programme, is a hand-laid carbon fibre element mounted on the tailgate of the standard Zeekr 8X, between the rear window and the light bar. It adds a second, lower edge to the tall rear of the car, so the tail reads as two clean levels instead of one flat panel, and it fits over the factory tailgate with nothing removed or cut. Classic or forged carbon, under clear lacquer or painted to body colour.
The Zeekr 8X carbon tailgate spoiler fits the Max, Ultra and Ultra+
The spoiler is developed for the standard Zeekr 8X and fits the Max, Ultra and Ultra+ versions. The Shadow Edition has its own set of parts. Because the spoiler fits over the factory panel, the car stays untouched underneath and can be returned to stock at any time.
The Zeekr 8X carbon tailgate spoiler and the rest of the rear
The mid spoiler is drawn together with our roof spoiler above it and the diffuser with stop light below it: three horizontal lines that make the rear of a five-metre SUV look lower, wider and finished. Each part is available on its own, all of them in the same weave and finish, and the Zeekr 8X carbon tailgate spoiler is the piece that ties the upper and lower halves together.
How the spoiler is made
RNG Design is a full-cycle manufacturer, not a reseller. The mould is cut on our own CNC machines from the geometry of the 8X tailgate, and every Zeekr 8X carbon tailgate spoiler is laid by hand from carbon fibre, cured, lacquered and polished under one roof. That is why the fit holds, and why we can film your own part at any stage of production before it ships.
Finishes: classic or forged carbon
Classic carbon gives the familiar carbon look with a deep, even weave. Forged carbon gives the fragmented marble-like pattern that has become the signature of modern performance cars. Both are UV stable under a clear lacquer, or the spoiler can be painted to body colour with the weave hidden. Gloss black basalt fibre is available on request.
