Zeekr 8X Carbon Mirror Covers in Classic or Forged Carbon
The Zeekr 8X carbon mirror covers by RNG Design are a pair of hand-laid carbon fibre caps that replace the factory mirror caps of the Zeekr 8X. They repeat the shape of the original to the millimetre, so the mirrors keep their lines and their functions, and they click onto the factory clips with no drilling and no adhesive. Classic or forged carbon, under clear lacquer or painted to body colour.
The Zeekr 8X carbon mirror covers fit the Max, Ultra and Ultra+
The covers are developed on the mirrors of the standard Zeekr 8X and fit the Max, Ultra and Ultra+ versions. Because they replace the caps on the original clips, the factory caps can go back on at any time, and nothing on the mirror itself changes: the glass, the folding mechanism, the indicators and the cameras stay exactly as they are.
The Zeekr 8X carbon mirror covers as the first step
Mirror covers are the fastest carbon upgrade on the car: half an hour of installation and no tools beyond what the clips need. On their own they lift the side view of the 8X; with the hood cover, the bumper inserts and the rest of our programme, the Zeekr 8X carbon mirror covers complete a car where every carbon part is in the same weave and finish.
How the covers are made
RNG Design is a full-cycle manufacturer, not a reseller. The moulds are cut on our own CNC machines from the geometry of the 8X mirrors, and every pair of Zeekr 8X carbon mirror covers is laid by hand from carbon fibre, cured, lacquered and polished under one roof. That is why the fit holds, and why we can film your own parts at any stage of production before they ship.
Finishes: classic or forged carbon
Classic carbon gives the familiar carbon look with a deep, even weave. Forged carbon gives the fragmented marble-like pattern that has become the signature of modern performance cars. Both are UV stable under a clear lacquer, or the covers can be painted to body colour with the weave hidden. Gloss black basalt fibre is available on request.
