Terms and Conditions – RNG Design LLP

General

  1. We endeavour not to make any mistakes; however, please check the product specification, compatibility with your vehicle, and anything else relevant to your purchasing decision with your RNG Design LLP representative before placing an order.
  2. RNG Design LLP will provide you with all manuals, documentation and certificates of conformity received from us or our suppliers in relation to your products.
  3. It is agreed between the contracting parties that all disputes arising out of any contracts or agreements entered into will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, and the laws of England and Wales will apply under the provisions of the Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990.
  4. The products do not belong to the customer until they have been paid for in full with cleared funds.

Deposits and Pre-payments

  1. A deposit equal to 50% of the total order value is required with every order to show the customer’s commitment to purchase the products and RNG Design LLP’s commitment to supply the products. Any payment made in excess of this 50% deposit will have been individually negotiated between RNG Design LLP and the customer; this usually occurs with orders subject to heavy bespoke modification. Placing an order and/or making a deposit constitutes acceptance of RNG Design LLP’s terms and conditions.
  2. If the customer fails to pay the outstanding balance of the agreed purchase price without lawful reason by the agreed date, or fails to arrange collection or delivery of the products by the agreed date, RNG Design LLP will be entitled to treat the agreement as cancelled by the customer and offer the products for re-sale. RNG Design LLP will be entitled to claim from the customer any reasonable losses suffered, which may include, but are not limited to, stocking charges, unrecoverable extras or custom work carried out on the products, and any reduction in value of the products.

    Once RNG Design LLP notifies the customer that their order is completed and ready for collection or dispatch, the balance of the invoice is payable no later than 7 days from notification of completion.

  3. RNG Design LLP will be entitled to use the deposit and any pre-payment to reduce its reasonable losses. Any excess will be returned to the customer and any shortfall will be paid by the customer.

NOTE: Handover/dispatch dates are indicative and RNG Design LLP cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by the base vehicle manufacturer, component manufacturers, shipping agents or other third parties.


Warranties / Faulty Products

  1. RNG Design LLP products (including body kits, forged wheels and accessories) supplied by RNG Design LLP are covered by a 12-month parts warranty from the date of delivery or installation (whichever is earlier), unless otherwise stated. Any warranty claims relating to OEM parts of the base vehicle must be handled directly with the vehicle manufacturer or authorised dealer; RNG Design LLP cannot process or control such claims.
  2. Where RNG Design LLP products are retro-fitted to a vehicle, a 12-month parts warranty applies to RNG Design LLP products only.
  3. Branded products supplied by RNG Design LLP are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. Any repairs and replacements will be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms after the product has been returned.
  4. Unbranded products supplied by RNG Design LLP are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against faults and defects.
  5. Any claim by the customer based upon defects in the quality or condition of the products supplied, or workmanship where applicable, shall be notified to RNG Design LLP within a reasonable time of the date of delivery, or, where the defects were not apparent on a reasonable inspection, within a reasonable time after discovery of the defects.
  6. RNG Design LLP parts are designed for day-to-day road use and are not covered against damage from heavy off-road use or excessive submersion.
  7. Damages caused by delivery companies or shipping agents must be rejected at the time of delivery or signed for as “damaged”. RNG Design LLP cannot be held responsible for, or claim for, any damages that are not documented by the delivery driver.
  8. All defective products must be returned to RNG Design LLP for inspection.
  9. RNG Design LLP does not offer an advance replacement service for defective products.
  10. Products must be fitted by RNG Design LLP or an RNG Design LLP–approved technician. Any defects or damage caused by incorrect fitting will not be covered under warranty.
  11. Products purchased through an RNG Design LLP independent reseller must be returned via the original route of purchase.
  12. Product warranty is not transferable.
  13. RNG Design LLP products installed on vehicles carry a 12-month warranty, irrespective of items covered by the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty period.
  14. Vehicle owners must adhere to the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines on service and inspections. Failure to maintain a vehicle within the specified guidelines may negate cover on products installed by RNG Design LLP.
  15. RNG Design LLP products are outside of vehicle manufacturer specifications and are not endorsed by the manufacturer. As such, the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty may be affected on certain parts by RNG Design LLP modifications. A main dealer may not honour warranty repairs if they believe the cause of the fault is an aftermarket modification. RNG Design LLP will not be held responsible for any costs incurred with manufacturers, main dealers or any other third party for repairs.
  16. ECU remapping is not supported by vehicle manufacturers or main dealers. A main dealer may not honour warranty repairs if they believe the fault has been caused by changes made to the ECU. ECU remaps are installed at the owner’s risk and RNG Design LLP will not be held responsible for disputes or repair costs incurred with manufacturers and main dealers.
  17. Wear and tear damage and light impact damage to alloy wheels are not covered under warranty.
  18. The parts warranty does not cover breakages to items that are subject to adjustment or replacement during normal service or maintenance operations.
