Mercedes G63 W465 Carbon Hood in Twill or Forged Carbon Fibre
The Mercedes G63 W465 carbon hood by RNG Design is made for the new G-Class introduced in 2024. It replaces the factory hood with a hand-laid pre-preg carbon fibre part that follows the original geometry to the millimetre, so the car keeps the proportions everyone recognises and gains the one detail that sets it apart in any line-up. Visible weave under clear lacquer or painted to body colour, in classic twill or forged carbon.
The Mercedes G63 W465 carbon hood fits the 2024+ G-Class
The hood is developed on the AMG G63 W465 and fits the other W465 versions that share the same hood, including the G550 and G500. For the electric G580 with EQ Technology, please confirm fitment with us before ordering. It is not adapted from the previous W463A generation, which uses a different body.
Mounting is on the original hinges and latch. Nothing is drilled, trimmed or improvised on your car, and the hood can be returned to stock at any time.
How the Mercedes G63 W465 carbon hood is made
RNG Design is a full-cycle manufacturer, not a reseller. The moulds are cut on our own CNC machines from the geometry of the W465 body, and every Mercedes G63 W465 carbon hood is laid by hand from pre-preg carbon fibre, cured, lacquered and polished under one roof. That is why the panel gaps hold, and why we can film your own hood at any stage of production before it ships.
Finishes: twill carbon fibre or forged carbon
Classic 2×2 twill gives the traditional carbon look with a deep, even weave. Forged carbon gives the fragmented marble-like pattern that has become the signature of modern AMG and supercar interiors and exteriors. Both are UV stable under a clear lacquer, or the Mercedes G63 W465 carbon hood can be painted to body colour with the weave hidden. The carbon hood is also lighter than the factory panel.
